Organ Pipe Cactus Seeds
A large plant that resembles an organ and its pipes, that can reach as high as 20 feet. Flowers begin to appear in June and continue through July & August. After the flowers have been pollinated by nectar-feeding bats, they begin to grow a plum sized cactus fruit.

Saguaro Cactus Seeds

One of the largest and most spectacular inhabitants of the Sonoran Desert is the Saguaro Cactus. This cactus can live up to 250 years, grow more than 70 feet high, and weigh 2000 lbs. Your Saguaro will grow anywhere in the world and will germinate in 3 to 10 days.

Golden Barrel Seeds

The Golden Barrel is a globular plant that grows very slowly. The cacti sports about 30 sharp ribs and has areolas that are covered in yellowish down. The spines are initially golden-yellow, later becoming whitish. The small brownish flowers are yellow on the inside and appear like a crown around the apex.

Barrel Cactus Seeds

These are always cylindrical or barrel shaped and are usually among the largest cacti in the desert. They have prominent ribs and are fiercely armed with heavy spines.

Prickly pear cactus are found in all of the deserts of the American Southwest. They have flat, fleshy pads that look like large leaves. They are for water storage and flower production. The prickly pear are edible and are the source for Cactus Jelly and Cactus Candy .

Cactus require very little care and can be grown very well in Dish Gardens, terrariums, in pots or warm frost-free areas outdoors. The Agave family of plants live in the desert, and have the unique ability to store water within their swollen leaves, stems, and roots. The Century Plant is the largest native Agave plant in Southwestern United States. It shoots up a stalk to 20 feet towards the end of it's life cycle and lives up to 15 to 20 years.

Ocotillo Seeds

The Ocotillo is one of the desert plants which gives character to the arid lands of the Southwestern U.S. and Mexico. There are 11 species of this plant. Ocotillo is widespread in Arizona, found state-wide below 5000 feet in elevation. In California you'll find Ocotillo in the southwestern Mojave desert and Colorado desert.

Lupine Succulentus

One of the most popular wildflowers, a variety of lupine, blue-bonnet, is the state flower of Texas. A lush green plant with deep blue flowers adorning each stalk, lupine succulentius grows to approximately 18" in height.

Penstemon Parryi Seeds

"Hummingbirds' Friend", penstemon parryi is an excellent source of nectar for these tiny birds. One of Arizona's taller wildflowers, pensemon is a perennial which sends up many stalks, often to 4' in height. Covered with delicate, rose-magenta, bell-shaped flowers, these stalks sway gently in the desert breeze.

Mexican Hat Seeds

The bright yellow heads of the Mexican Hat resemble the traditional high-centered sombrero seen during Mexican fiestas. A member of the sunflower family, this wildflower is branced and leafy at its base with its flower heads on 1' to 4' leafless stalks.

Mexican Evening Primrose Seeds

This beautiful low spreading ground cover carpets the desert in great pink masses. It thrives with little care once established. In winter, in mid-elevations, it will die back to the ground but will return the following spring.
