Creek Tribe Gourd Rattle - 19"

This rattle
is typical of what is used during ceremony. The gourd has drawings of
horses or Indians or other Native American symbols burned in, and the
long handle is fabulously beaded in glass beads. The rattle is usually
carried in the right hand of the dancer. 19" in length plus 7" fringe. This artifact was handcrafted
in the southwestern
United States by a member of the Creek
Nation and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Leather, fur, beads
and drawings will vary.

is typical of what is used during ceremony. The gourd is painted with
your choice of Bear, Kokopelli, Lizard or Turtle and is trimmed with
rabbit fur, feathers and beads. Traditionally, rattles are carried in
the right hand of the dancer. Beads and fur will vary. This artifact is
handmade in the southwestern United States. We cannot be certain if it
was Native American made.
